March 24 Release Notes: Appeal Permissions & FTP Updates

Three new Exciting Changes to the CRM

  1. A new No Rent or Exchange Standard Flag has been added to the Donor’s record for users to leverage.  This flag will also be available in Rapid Entry.
  2. The FTP button in the Aegis Access menu now enables users to access either ftp.bernard.com OR ftp1.bernard solutions.com – Previously this quick link ONLY provides access to the ftp1 site.
  3. Finally, Appeal Permissions have been incorporated into the Appeal record.  With these permissions in place on an Appeal record, users can be set up to see only those enabled appeals while using Rapid Entry. This function will avoid the confusion of users accidentally selecting the wrong appeals for transactions; they will ONLY see the ones that they should!

In the following three sections, users will discover exactly where these new functions are located and how to use them.

No Rent or Exchange Standard Flag

To access the new No Rent or Exchange standard flag, users should:

1. Locate and open a Donor (Partner, Constituent, etc.) record.

2. From the Actions menu, click on Edit this Donor

4. Observe the new No Rent or Exchange standard flag.

5. Users can Turn on as desired.

must be displayed for import in camel case: NoRentOrExchange.

This flag will also be available via Rapid Entry.
