Creating a Partner Note

To create a partner note, you will need to:
- Click on the
Create Note link from the
Actions section of the Partner record:
Note: If no notes have been created for a partner, you can also click on the Click here to add one link from the Notes section.
The Note Details screen will be displayed: - Choose the subject of the note from the Subject dropdown menu or type in a new subject title.
- (optional) Check the Add this subject to the default subject list check box if you typed in a new subject that you want to make available for future notes.
- Choose the type of note from the Note Type dropdown menu. The type of notes available will depend on how your particular database is configured.
- Set the date, if different from the current date and time.
- (optional) Check the Is Private check box if you want the note to be private. Only Aegis CRM users with the correct user access rights will be able to view private notes.
- (optional) Check the User Alert Notification check box if you want to set a user alert notification.
- Enter the note in the provided text field.
- Click on one
of the following options:
- Click onSave & View Partnerto save the note and return to the partner record.
- Click onSave to save the note and set a follow up reminder.
- Click on Cancel to the creation of the note and return to the partner record.
