Product Panel

Hot Key = F4 to toggle between displaying and hiding the Product Panel

The Product Panel displays options for identifying the details of a Product Transaction such as the SKU (Stock Number) and quantity ordered.  This panel allows for the entry of an associated accounting fund, associated discount, warehouse location, shipping method, and more.

SKU

Enter the SKU (Stock Number) of the product ordered.

Quantity

Enter the quantity of items ordered.

Fund

Use the pull down menu to select the Fund associated with this product.  The Fund must already have been set up in Aegis CRM.

Discount

If a discount applies to the product ordered, enter the discount amount here.

Warehouse

Use the pull down menu to select the warehouse in which this product is stored.  The warehouse (inventory) must already have been set up in Aegis CRM.

Unit Price

The Unit Price is displayed on the Product Panel but is not entered at the Product Panel level.  This is the price associated with the item during Inventory setup.

Single Products

If the order involves only one type of product, click the Shipping tab to complete the order entry.  For  information about the "Shipping" window, click here.

Multiple Products

If more than one type of product is ordered, click the "Multiple" button to record additional product information in the "Multiple Product Selection" window.  The "Multiple Product Selection" window displays options for identifying the details of an additional product item, similar to the Product Panel itself.  Here you can enter the SKU,  quantity ordered, the associated accounting fund, discount and warehouse location.  The information in this window must be completed for each type of product associated with the order.

You can enter the product information directly into the available areas, or you can use the "Available Products" directory tree which will provide a list of products available for shipping.

Using the "Available Products" Directory Tree

Click on the + sign to expand the directory tree and double-click on the desired product.  The product information will automatically fill the appropriate areas.  When all information is correctly entered, click "Add Product."  This will insert a row in the "Selected Products" display area.

The "Multiple Product Selection" window must be completed for each type of product in the order.  To complete the order, click the "Shipping" button to add shipping information (for  information about the "Shipping" window, click here), then click "OK" to complete the order entry.

The total cost of all of the products and any applicable discounts will be calculated and displayed on the Product Panel.  This amount is the total product cost, excluding shipping, handling and tax.

Shipping

Clicking  on the Shipping button will display the Shipping window.  Here you can change the constituent's address for shipping, enter shipping costs and handling costs, record special handling instructions, and apply a tax amount if applicable.
