Aegis Premier Solutions recommends the use of an FTP client with FTPS capability (CuteFTP and Filezilla for example) when transferring data using FTP. If the below instructions are followed, your transfer will use SSL encryption methods.

• Download and install an FTP Client. FileZilla will be used as an example. (http://filezilla-project.org/)
• At the top of the FileZilla window, you will see an area to enter FTP login information.
• In the address field enter: ftp.Aegis CRM.com
• User: <your Aegis CRM username>
• Password: <your Aegis CRM password>
• Port: 990
  • Please ensure the use of port 990 for secure transfer. Port 21 is an unencrypted method.
• You may also enter the above login information into the Site Manager to save your credentials for future use.
• Click the "Quickconnect" button.

You should now be connected to your Aegis CRM private FTP directory. If you wish to access the public ftp directory, simply click on the appropriate link or folder.

In FileZilla, the left pane is your computer. The right pane is the ftp site. Click and drag files from your computer to the ftp site to upload files and vice versa to download files.

This file will be a compressed (.zip) comma-separated file (.csv), which can be opened in Microsoft Excel© or imported into the database of your choice.
