Understanding Pledges

Aegis CRM lets you work with pledges and other types of recurring gifts. With Aegis CRM, there are four main types of pledges that you can use:

• One Time
  A One Time pledge will be fulfilled with one payment.
• Fixed Period
  A Fixed Period pledge will be fulfilled when all the payments have been made.
• Goal Based
  A Goal Based pledge will be fulfilled when the total amount pledged has been received.
• Open Ended
  An Open Ended pledge will be fulfilled when the pledge is marked as inactive.

You can enter pledges either through Rapid Entry or through Aegis CRM.
